Is ProposalAI affiliated with Upwork Global Inc.?
No. ProposalAI is an independent software tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Upwork Global Inc.
Do you automatically post proposals to my Upwork account?
No. ProposalAI never accesses your Upwork login credentials and never submits bids automatically. You generate, review, edit, and copy proposals manually into Upwork's official cover letter field.

Will my proposals sound like generic AI text?
No. Unlike raw ChatGPT prompts, ProposalAI combines your specific resume experience, uploaded portfolio items, custom writing voice presets, and the client's job requirements to craft personalized letters with specific hooks and diagnostic questions.
Can I edit proposals before sending them?
Absolutely. We provide a full rich-text and plain-text editor where you can tweak hooks, edit questions, adjust formatting, and insert custom portfolio links before copying to Upwork.
How many proposal templates do you offer?
We offer several structures, including Classic (Hook → Relevance → Proof → Questions), Problem-First, Result-Led, and Question-Led.
Account & Security
Is my resume data safe?
Your resume extraction, profile, and job history are stored on your signed-in account in our database. Other users cannot see them. We do not sell this data. We send relevant text to an AI provider (Groq) to generate drafts, as described in the Privacy Policy.
What is included for free?
Our free plan allows 3 proposal generations per day, full multi-resume profile storage, job requirement analysis, portfolio matching, and saved writing voice presets with no credit card required.
